Navi Med Capital has appointed Holly Atallah as chief financial officer and vice president of compliance, and promoted Bennett Mears to principal. Atallah leads financial operations and strategy, including fund finance, valuation and investor reporting, and directs the firm's compliance program. She joins from Broad Oak Capital Partners, where she served as director of finance and operations, and previously worked at Palmer Financial and England & Co. She holds a degree in economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mears, who joined Navi Med in 2019, sits on the boards of Advantage Surgical & Wound Care, Brent Care Behavioral Health, Infusive, Prime Therapy and Vitoria. In his new role, he will broaden his remit across the firm's investments, targeting lower middle-market healthcare companies. He previously worked at Argos Health, Lucent Health and Ci TRUS Health Group.

Navi Med also hired Charlie Mangum as senior associate and Savannah Kovac as executive assistant and operations coordinator. The Washington, DC-based firm manages more than $900 million in assets, investing exclusively in lower middle-market healthcare businesses with up to $10 million of EBITDA.
