Apple's foldable iPhone Duo will start at $2,000 for 256GB of storage, maxing out around $3,000, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. The device will reportedly come in white and dark blue and launch as early as October. Apple is naming the device 'iPhone Duo' to emphasize its dual-screen design, moving away from the internal codename 'iPhone Ultra.' Gurman reports the entry-level version includes 256GB storage, with higher-capacity models pushing prices up to roughly $3,000.

Apple absorbed some costs due to memory shortages to keep the base price at $2,000 while passing additional costs to consumers buying higher capacities. The iPhone Duo features a new A20 Pro chip, Apple's C2 modem, dual 48-megapixel rear cameras, a 12-megapixel front camera, a magnetic hinge system, and Apple Pencil support. Separate reports indicate the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max will see $100 price increases.

Apple's 'Surprise and Shine' event begins at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time tomorrow.
