vivo today announced that its upcoming V80 smartphone will be unveiled on October 6 at 12 PM in India. The device features a 6.59" 1.5K OLED display with 5,000 nits peak brightness and a 144Hz refresh rate, alongside a 7,200 mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. The phone also includes four cameras co-developed with ZEISS, offering 4K Cinematic Video and 4K@60fps video recording with OIS.

In India, the vivo V80 will launch with AI Diwali Portrait 2.0 and a Diwali Frame, running Android 17-based Origin OS 7 out of the box. This makes it the first smartphone to run Origin OS 7 outside of China. The phone will be available in three color options: Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue, and Stellar Black.

Indian customers will also receive 100GB of cloud storage free for six months with the Google One Standard Plan. While vivo has not yet revealed the processor or memory configurations, more details are expected at the official launch.
