Samsung has quietly launched the Galaxy A18 4G in Europe, with press releases confirmed for France, Norway, and Sweden. The device replaces the Helio G99 chipset with the new Exynos 1610 and upgrades ingress protection to IP64 from the previous IP54 rating. It retains a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and a notch housing a 13MP selfie camera. The rear camera array consists of a 50MP main sensor, 5MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro lens, limited to 1080p video recording. The 5,000mAh battery supports 25W charging, reaching 50% in 30 minutes, and is rated for 1,200 charge cycles.

The phone ships with Android 17 and One UI 9, promising 6 years of OS updates and security patches until October 2032. Dimensions have increased slightly to 7.7mm thickness and 196g weight. In France, the sole 4GB/128GB configuration is priced at €280, notably higher than the Galaxy A17's €200 launch price for a 6GB/128GB model. Norway and Sweden offer both 128GB and 256GB variants. Shipping begins September 18 in Gray, Light Blue, and Black colors.
