Redmi has launched the Note 17 Pro and Note 17 Pro Max in India. The Redmi Note 17 Pro features a 6.83-inch 1280x2772 AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 3,500-nit peak brightness, powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 SoC. It has a 50MP f/1.8 rear camera with OIS, 8MP ultrawide, 16MP selfie camera, and a 9,000 mAh battery with 67W fast wired and 22.5W reverse wired charging.

It is IP66, IP68, and IP69K rated, SGS-certified for drops up to 3m, runs Android 16 with Hyper OS 3, and will receive four major OS upgrades and six years of security updates. Available in Purple Vibe, Cloud Blue, and Stealth Black with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for INR 36,999 ($385) or 256GB for INR 39,999 ($417). Sales start September 17.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max shares the same screen but uses a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 SoC, a 50MP f/1.5 rear camera, 32MP selfie camera, and 10,000 mAh battery with 100W fast wired and 27W reverse wired charging. Available in Stealth Black, Matcha Green, and Secret Sunrise with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage for INR 49,999 ($521), or 12GB RAM and 256GB for INR 55,999 ($584). Sales start September 23.
