Clicks will begin shipping its first smartphone, the Clicks Communicator, in December, nearly a year after its CES 2026 rollout. The final version gets a spec bump and an October 1 price hike.

The Communicator now ships with 12GB of RAM (up from 8GB) and a 4,350mAh battery (up from 4,000mAh), rated for over 800 charge cycles. It runs Android 17 out of the box with support through Android 20 and five years of security updates. Inspired by BlackBerry phones, it has a physical keyboard below a 4.03-inch, 120Hz AMOLED display, runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chip, and offers 256GB storage with microSD expansion plus a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The touch-sensitive keyboard lets you swipe to scroll, and its spacebar doubles as a fingerprint sensor. Layouts include English QWERTY, French AZERTY, German QWERTZ, Korean, and Arabic. Clicks pitches it as a second phone for messages and calls, not a flagship competitor.

You can still reserve one for $499, but the price rises to $649 on October 1. Pre-orders are available on the company website.
