Amazon has launched a new Fire TV Stick 4K, priced at $30 during Prime Day and $60 otherwise. The device is part of a new generation of Fire TV hardware, featuring a slimmer design and faster performance. Amazon claims it is 20 to 40 percent faster than competing 4K sticks, with apps launching over 35 percent faster and content starting nearly 20 percent faster.

It includes 8GB of storage, a quad-core 1.7GHz processor, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3. The stick runs Vega OS with Alexa+ and supports up to 2160p at 60fps. A redesigned remote features tactile buttons, a metal home button, and a customizable star button.

A premium Fire TV Remote Plus with aluminum housing and backlit buttons is expected early next year.
