Ray Neo has launched the GT smart glasses at the same $299 price as the Air 4 Pro, but with notable upgrades. The GT is 8g lighter and features a new native 3DoF spatial tracking chip alongside the Vision 4000 chipset, which provides SDR-to-HDR conversion and a 3840 Hz PWM dimming rate. Comfort is improved with three IPD sizes (small, medium, large) and adjustable screen sizing — neither standard at this price. The display's low-flicker performance and included temple pads make them easy to wear for extended periods.

The 3DoF tracking offers steady, anchor, and follow modes, with the Follow mode delivering the most flicker-free experience. Ray Neo also includes native 10-bit displays and software support for 12-bit Dolby Vision content, paired with the Pocket TV remote that turns the glasses into a portable Google TV device. Audio from the open-ear 4-speaker design is impressively high quality.

The main drawback is the lack of lens tinting or electrochromic dimming, making the micro-OLEDs susceptible to ambient lighting. Despite this, the Ray Neo GT ranks among the most competitive smart glasses from the company at this price point.
