Elevated oil prices, forecasted at $80/bbl through 2027, are expected to support Petronas earnings and lift domestic offshore capital expenditure. CIMB Securities analyst Muhammad Afif Bin Zulkaplly notes that sustained prices could improve upstream project economics and encourage higher development spending. CIMB maintains an overweight rating on Malaysia's oil and gas sector, pegging Dayang Enterprise and MISC as top picks for their exposure to capital expenditure.

Dalrymple Bay Infrastructure received an upgrade to accumulate from Morgans, citing a 15% stock decline from June highs. Analyst Nathan Lead expects the company to pay a dividend of 28.6 Australian cents per share in FY27. Morgans highlights that DBI's EBITDA growth is underpinned by CPI-linked base charges and incremental earnings from commissioned NECAP projects.

DBI closed trading at A$5.13, below Morgans' A$5.47 price target. The upgrade reflects investor interest in dependable yield and defensive portfolio elements.
