Britain's Eilish McColgan returned to competitive action after five months out with a fractured foot to win the London Big Half for a fourth time. Her finishing time was more than three minutes outside her best for the course and well outside her British record of 1:05:43. Britain's Jack Rowe missed out on a record fourth consecutive men's victory, finishing second, 14 seconds behind Kadar Omar Abdullahi of Birchfield Harriers, who won in 1:01:51.

Britain's David Weir defended his men's wheelchair title for a fifth time in the event's nine-year history, setting a new record of 46:13 and knocking 45 seconds off his own course record from last year. Eden Rainbow Cooper won the women's event in 52:47 to defend her title.
