Previous reports indicate the next iPad mini will be equipped with either an A19 Pro chip or an A20 Pro chip, up from the A17 Pro in the current 2024 model. This two-generation jump would enable advanced AI capabilities, improved graphics performance, and better power efficiency.

Additional rumored features include a vibration-based speaker system and increased water resistance. The OLED panel would provide superior contrast ratios, deeper blacks, and more vibrant colors compared to the current LCD screen.
