Apple has announced the opening of Apple Music Hall, a state-of-the-art 600-capacity music venue located in London's Battersea Power Station. The venue is designed to connect artists and fans through bespoke, intimate performances. Oliver Schusser, Apple's vice president of Apple Music and International Content, stated that the opening represents an unprecedented step in Apple's commitment to artists and fans, tracing the company's love for music back to the iPod and iTunes Music Festival.

The hall incorporates heritage brickwork, fluted arches, and bronze balconies, while a giant glass wall offers panoramic views of the concourse and river. The 38-foot-wide stage can be reconfigured for traditional or in-the-round experiences, supported by a 48-speaker spatial sound system positioned around the audience.

A dedicated recording and mix studio behind the stage allows every performance to be captured as a multi-track recording and mixed in Spatial Audio. The venue is hardwired for 16 or more cameras feeding a broadcast control room, supporting iPhone video capture alongside traditional cameras.
