Paul Casey made an emotional vow to donate all his prize money to victims of the Crans-Montana bar fire after taking a three-shot lead at the Omega European Masters. The English golfer shot seven-under-par 63 in the third round at Crans-sur-Sierre Golf Club, Switzerland, where 41 people died and 115 were injured in a New Year's Day bar fire. Casey, who now lives in Switzerland, said winning would mean 'an awful lot' and pledged his earnings to charity.

He birdied eight times, including the 18th, to finish three shots clear of Maximilian Steinlechner, Erik van Rooyen, Nacho Elvira, and Eugenio Chacarra. Casey, a former world No. 3, has not won on the DP World Tour since 2018 after joining LIV Golf in 2022. He overcame a wrist injury earlier in the year and said his limited schedule has left him fresh and competitive at age 49.

The final round will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Golf from 11am Sunday.
