Wrexham Boss Parkinson Fumes Over Cabango Tackle

Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson said Ben Cabango should have been sent off for a 'leg-breaking' challenge on Callum O'Hare during the goalless draw with Swansea. Parkinson claimed Cabango grabbed Kieffer Moore around the neck earlier and then made an out-of-control tackle endangering a player, insisting it warranted a straight red card. O'Hare received an ice pack on his leg, with Parkinson hoping he is OK.

Swansea were on top early, but Wrexham gained momentum later, with Max Cleworth and Moore missing second-half chances. The draw leaves Wrexham in 10th place in the Championship with one win from five games. Parkinson said his team had the better chances to win and grew into the game, praising their effort despite not taking key opportunities.

He noted the squad faced long journeys to Millwall and Swansea but showed no excuse-making. Unbeaten Swansea remain top of the table, one point clear of five teams. Swansea head coach Vitor Matos declined to comment on referee decisions, saying if Parkinson believes it was a red card, 'good for him'.
