Streaming HDR dikembalikan di Steam Deck OLED pada pembaruan

Valve has restored HDR streaming support for the Steam Deck OLED in the latest Steam Client preview/beta update, months after disabling the feature in early October alongside its Big Art Mode overhaul. The update notes cite a full revamp of Remote Play, re-enabling HDR on the Steam Deck OLED along with new options to switch between automatic mode—which only activates HDR when HDR content is detected—and an always-on mode that boosts brightness for SDR content. HDR support is also now enabled with Remote Play on Windows, in games and on the desktop, via Pipewire on the Linux desktop, when streaming from macOS, and when streaming to an Android device using Steam Link on Android 15 or newer.

While the original reason for disabling HDR was never officially stated, reports pointed to bugs and issues with HDR support on the Steam Deck OLED, prompting Valve to rebuild the feature from the ground up.
