Player Moves
Tight end Dallas Goedert re-signs on a one-year pact with Philadelphia, securing his ninth season with the Eagles. His deal comes as San Francisco tight end George Kittle secures a $52M extension through 2027, highlighting a premium on the position for contending teams.
Contract Context
Goedert's agreement keeps a key target for Jalen Hurts, while Kittle's new money makes him the NFL's highest-paid tight end. Both moves reflect a league-wide trend of securing core players, with the Eagles' cap hit for Goedert rising to $11.75M and the 49ers using their franchise tag on Kittle last year before the extension.
