Morning all, Craig Mc Glashan here with the Europe Wire from the London newsroom. We kick off with a deal in one of the most resilient consumer subsectors: beauty and personal care. HIG Capital has sold Pinalli, an Italian beauty and personal care retailer, to Borletti Group. Pinalli is based in Fiorenzuola d’Arda, Piacenza, and generated €197 million of revenue in 2025. More than one million members are signed up to its loyalty program. HIG bought a majority stake in Pinalli in February 2023, investing alongside the Pinalli family and the company’s management team. Under HIG’s ownership, Pinalli grew its store network from 63 to 108 locations and expanded its e-commerce platform. It also rebranded, added more international and digital-native brands, launched its own private-label range and introduced a new store format.

Next, Ambienta has acquired four aquaculture technology companies in Norway and the Faroe Islands. Together they form a new platform led by CEO Sverre Taknes. Bluefront Equity is the seller on the Bio Marine part of the deal. Ambienta’s platform aims to scale technologies in fish health, feed optimization, equipment, farming systems and waste treatment. Bio Marine was founded in 2000 and is based in Surnadal. FLS is based in Kristiansund, and its history dates back to 1913. Smir was founded in 2015 and is based in Langevåg. Gro Aqua was established in 1972 and supplies integrated feeding systems across the Faroe Islands, the UK and Norway. Aquaculture is a €20 billion market that will double over the next decade, according to Ambienta.

To finish, Eurazeo has opened its first office in the Middle East.
