Samsung has begun rolling out the stable One UI 9 update to the Galaxy S25 series, starting in South Korea on September 16 and reaching the US by September 23. The update, built on Android 17, arrived for Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra users in Korea earlier today, with US users expected to receive notifications next week.

Additionally, stable One UI 9 is now available for Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 users who participated in the beta program. Tarun Vats reports the S25 series update has build version S938NKSUCDZIF, a 3.9GB download. Galaxy Z Fold7 users on beta-to-stable installs are targeting build version F966NKSUCCZIH, approximately 500MB. Samsung Thailand's press release confirmed the S25 and Z series would receive One UI 9 on September 28. Previously stated October updates for the S23 FE have been revised to "later this year."
