England's Matthew Jordan sits two shots behind Casey Jarvis heading into the final round of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship after posting a six-under 66 to reach 16 under par. Jarvis leads at 18 under following a bogey-free 65 at St Andrews, while Poland's Adrian Meronk matched Jordan's total with a nine-under 63 at Kingsbarns. Belgium's Thomas Detry is a further shot back on 15 under after a seven-under 65.
Jordan, 30, is chasing his first DP World Tour victory, having finished runner-up at the Nexo Championship earlier this year and won the 2017 St Andrews Links Trophy as an amateur. 'What I wanted to do, and felt like I hadn't done over the last 12, 18 months was put myself in a position to win,' Jordan said. Jarvis acknowledged he will be 'feeling pressure' to hold off the chasing pack in the final round. Meronk carded birdies at his opening four holes and added an eagle later in his round.
Matt Fitzpatrick (Eng) sits at 12 under alongside defending champion Robert Mac Intyre and Calum Hill.
