EQT has launched an evergreen fund to open its Asia platform to wealth investors, targeting healthcare, services, technology, and industrial technology companies across India, Korea, Japan, Greater China, Southeast Asia, and Australia and New Zealand. The initiative extends EQT’s strategy to channel private wealth into private markets with a clear regional focus on Asia Pacific. The firm cites IMF and industry data showing that while Asia Pacific accounts for about 60% of the world’s population and generates roughly 60% of global economic growth, it attracts less than 5% of global private equity capital.

This fund aims to bridge that gap by providing wealth investors access to EQT’s established Asia investment platform.
