Brookfield Raises Record $77bn in Q2

Brookfield Asset Management raised a record $77bn in the second quarter, led by private equity, infrastructure, and credit. Fee‑bearing capital climbed 19% year‑on‑year to $672bn. Fee‑related earnings rose 20% to $808m, while distributable earnings advanced 15% to $707m and net income reached $1.2bn.

The private equity flagship’s seventh vintage secured $6.7bn, with the broader group raising $8.6bn, and the infrastructure flagship lifted $9.3bn, topping its programme. Total infrastructure commitments hit $10bn, and the AI infrastructure strategy closed its first round at $5bn.

Brookfield completed the acquisition of Oaktree’s remainder, bolstering its credit platform. It expanded AI infrastructure ties, raising the France framework to $35bn and Bloom Energy’s power partnership to $25bn. Deployments totaled $21bn and sales generated $11bn.

The company declared a quarterly dividend of $0.5025 per share, repurchased $200m of stock, and closed the quarter with $149bn of uncalled commitments.
