A record six players from Wales will compete in The Hundred 2026, the country's largest contingent yet. Three will represent home franchise Welsh Fire, two join London Spirit, and one signs for defending champions Trent Rockets.

Ben Kellaway returns to Welsh Fire after an impressive debut, while captain Phil Salt – the competition's all-time leading scorer with 1,138 runs – leads the side. Newport-born all-rounder Sophia Smale, a 2022 winner with Oval Invincibles, completes the Fire lineup under captain Sophie Devine.

Glamorgan skipper Kiran Carlson brings red-hot form to London Spirit alongside Seren Smale, the first Welsh woman to play for England since 2008. The Spirit women begin their title defence on 23 July at Lord's.

Swansea-born Aneurin Donald, a former England U19 international, joins Trent Rockets at Trent Bridge. Welsh Fire open their campaign against Southern Brave on 22 July in Southampton.
