Wales Under-20s secured their first victory of the 2025 Six Nations campaign with a 31-21 bonus-point win over Scotland at Cardiff Arms Park. After frustrating losses to England and France, Richard Whiffin's side finally found form against the Scots, scoring four tries through lock Luke Evans, centre Bailey Cutts, wing Dylan Scott, and hooker Tom Howe.

Wales dominated the first half with a strong wind advantage, building a 19-0 lead with Evans' early try and Cutts' debut score, plus three penalties from fly-half Carwyn Leggatt-Jones. Scotland responded after halftime with tries from centre Campbell Waugh and replacement forwards Jack Marshall and Jackson Rennie, but couldn't overcome the deficit. The visitors, who had impressed with an opening win in Italy and a strong showing against England, will rue missed opportunities when playing with the wind.

Despite arguably their worst performance of the tournament so far, Wales held on for victory in front of senior coaches Steve Tandy and Gregor Townsend. The win sets up a crucial fixture against Ireland in Cork next weekend, while Scotland host France in Edinburgh. For Wales, the bonus-point triumph provides momentum after a shaky start to their championship defense.
