Judd Trump secured his place in the Tour Championship final with a commanding 10-4 victory over Neil Robertson in Manchester. The world number one established an unassailable 7-1 lead during Friday's afternoon session, breaks of 87, 94, and 113 allowing Trump to register 294 unanswered points in the opening three frames.

Despite his concerns about his cue tip throughout the tournament, Trump maintained focus to complete the job in the evening session. Robertson, a two-time former winner of the event, celebrated with the crowd when he won frame seven but couldn't mount a serious challenge as Trump closed the door with runs of 87 and 75.

Trump will face either world champion Zhao Xintong or Scotland's John Higgins in Sunday's final at 13:00 BST. This marks the 36-year-old Englishman's first appearance in the Tour Championship final, with the prestigious event serving as the final preparation for the World Championship beginning in Sheffield on April 18.
