South Africa delivered a masterclass at Ellis Park, thrashing England 45-21 to reaffirm their superiority over the visitors. The Springboks crossed the whitewash seven times through T du Toit, Kolbe, Arendse, Williams, Kriel, Marx and Dixon, with Kolbe slotting five conversions. England managed three tries via George, Martin and Coles, but F Smith's three goals couldn't prevent a heavy defeat.

The hosts exploded out of the blocks, racing to a 17-point advantage within just 11 minutes as England struggled to contain the pace and power of the Springboks. This dominant start set the tone for what would become a thoroughly convincing performance from Jacques Nienaber's side, who showed why they remain the benchmark in world rugby.

England's fightback before halftime offered brief hope, with Genge and Martin powering over to narrow the gap. However, South Africa's class shone through after the break as they added three more tries to cruise to victory. This result extends South Africa's winning streak against England to four matches.

For England, attention turns to their Nations Championship fixtures against Fiji on July 11 and Argentina on July 18. Steve Borthwick's side needs significant improvement if they hope to compete with the rugby elite.
