Meanwhile, the Scottish men's wheelchair 3x3 team, featuring Kyle Jimenez and Ross Malcolm, overcame past disappointments to win a bronze medal. After losing bronze medal matches in both 2018 and 2022, they defeated New Zealand 18-16 in a tense final. Teammates Skylar White and Owen Mc Cormack were instrumental in the victory. Mc Cormack described the bronze as a career highlight, while Jimenez and Malcolm emphasized their belief in the team and their desire to bring recognition to the sport.

Despite the men's team's success, the wheelchair men's team ended their campaign with a 19-9 loss to Canada in their bronze medal match.
