Rushden & Diamonds have terminated the contracts of Brazilian striker Bruno Andrade and young midfielder Tyler Winters following an on-pitch fight that resulted in both players receiving red cards during a 3-0 loss to Loughborough Students. The club confirmed the decision in a statement, stating both players would not feature for the remainder of the Northern Premier League Midlands Division season and are free to seek opportunities elsewhere. The statement emphasized the incident violated the club's expected standards, stressing the need to uphold integrity despite football's emotional nature.

Manager Elliott Sandy echoed this sentiment, telling BBC Radio Northampton the pair's actions cost the team the game, adding they had let themselves, the team, and the club down. Sandy also expressed disappointment in the players' internal response to the situation. Andrade, 32, joined last summer from Bedford Town, bringing experience from clubs including QPR and Wycombe Wanderers.

Winters, 20, arrived from Peterborough Sports and gained TV fame in the Baller League. Both issued social media apologies to fans and staff, expressing regret for the incident's conclusion. The match result left Rushden & Diamonds ninth in the table, five points outside the play-off spots with seven games remaining.
