Michael Dunlop has been named Irish Motorcyclist of the Year for a third time. The 36-year-old received the prestigious Joey Dunlop Trophy at Friday's gala. This follows another dominant season on the road race circuit, cementing his status as one of the sport's modern greats.

Dunlop's year was built on historic achievements. He added four more Isle of Man TT victories, taking his all-time record to 33 wins. He also ended a nine-year wait for a hat-trick at the North West 200. His dramatic Superbike triumph there was voted Race of the Year.

The awards also recognized other top performers. Jonathan Rea received a Special Recognition Award after retiring from World Superbike. Young talent Casey O'Gorman was named Young Rider of the Year following his Moto3 debut. The event celebrated a milestone season for Irish motorsport across multiple disciplines.
