Daniil Medvedev secured his second Dubai Tennis Championships title after Tallon Griekspoor withdrew from the final due to injury. The Russian player, who previously won the tournament in 2023, expressed disappointment about the walkover victory, telling the ATP Tour website it was 'not how I wanted to win.' This marks Medvedev's first time winning the same tournament twice.

Medvedev, who did not drop a set during the tournament, has now won three titles in the past four months and two in 2025. His 22 previous titles had all come at different events, making this Dubai victory particularly notable. The former world number one is now attempting to travel to California for next week's Indian Wells tournament, though airspace restrictions following Middle East tensions have complicated his journey.

In the doubles competition, British player Henry Patten and Finland's Harri Heliovaara claimed their second consecutive men's doubles title with a 7-5, 7-5 victory over Marcelo Arevalo and Mate Pavic. The pair have now won three of their four tournaments together this year, establishing themselves as a formidable team on the circuit.
