Additionally, McCullum voiced support for his close friend Stephen Fleming, who replaces him as Test coach. Fleming will initially be assisted by Marcus Trescothick for the Pakistan series before taking full charge for the tour of South Africa in December. McCullum and Fleming aim to foster success across all three formats of English cricket, acknowledging the need for collaboration and compromise in a demanding schedule.
