Former Wales and British and Irish Lions full-back Leigh Halfpenny has committed his coaching future to Cardiff Rugby. Head coach Corniel van Zyl highlighted Halfpenny's extensive achievements, including 801 points for Wales and 101 caps, as invaluable to his new role.

Van Zyl expressed excitement about Halfpenny's impact, noting improvements in the team's kickers during his previous work. "He is so professional and diligent in everything he does," van Zyl stated.

Halfpenny will focus on all kickers, from goal-kicking to touch-kicking, and also work with scrum-halves on technique. Additionally, he will contribute to the academy, fostering his growth as a coach. Cardiff anticipates his return to the Arms Park after his experience with the national squad.

"He has a great future as a coach," van Zyl concluded.
