The Georgian team was unable to land in Northern Ireland on Sunday due to chartered flight paperwork issues, with players and staff not expected until Tuesday afternoon for the scheduled 20:00 BST kick-off.

UEFA regulations stipulate that teams must arrive at least 24 hours before a match. FC Iberia 1999 may request a postponement given their late arrival. Larne, FC Iberia 1999, and UEFA have been contacted for comment.

The second leg is scheduled for August 11 in Tbilisi. The winner advances to face Rangers or Jagellonia Bialystock, while the loser enters the UEFA Conference League qualifying round. Larne previously reached the UEFA Conference League league phase in 2024.
