The 20-year-old American star achieved the milestone during Charlotte's dominant 131-99 victory over the Chicago Bulls, where he scored 21 points including three three-pointers.

Knueppel's achievement surpasses previous records and places him second among rookies to reach 200 three-pointers. With 201 three-pointers already this season, he needs only six more to break Keegan Murray's rookie record of 206 set in 2022-23. The Duke Blue Devils product was selected fourth overall in the 2025 NBA draft by the Hornets.
