Hull KR claimed their first Super League victory of 2026 with a dominant 32-6 win over Huddersfield Giants at the Accu Stadium. The Robins, last year's treble winners, had started the season poorly after losing to newcomers York Knights and suffering a 58-6 defeat to Leeds Rhinos in Las Vegas.

Huddersfield began the match bottom of the table, already eight points behind early leaders Wigan Warriors. Ryan Brierley's try inside three minutes gave them hope, but Hull KR quickly took control. Ryan Davies scored twice, including a smart finish in the corner, while Jordan Abdull danced through the defense for a try of the game. Lewis added two more scores, including a trademark individual effort.

Huddersfield's Jake Connor briefly reduced the deficit with a spectacular catch and touchdown, but injured himself in the process. The Giants, who finished 10th last year after losing their first 10 games, have now started 2026 with consecutive defeats. Both teams will meet again next Saturday in the Challenge Cup last-16 at the same venue.
