Former world snooker champion Graeme Dott has been found guilty of two charges of lewd and libidinous behaviour at the High Court in Glasgow. The 49-year-old denied allegations involving a girl and a boy between 1993 and 2010.

The court heard Dott exposed himself and inappropriately touched a primary school girl in the 1990s, including kissing her stomach and suggesting she remove her trousers. He also molested a young boy, now in his 20s, starting around 2006 after Dott won the World Snooker Championship. The boy reported being abused in a shower in South Lanarkshire and given money before being accused of theft.

Lord Harrower sentenced Dott to be determined at a separate hearing in Edinburgh on 29 September. Dott covered his face during the verdict, having previously called the allegations "disgusting".

The World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) permanently revoked Dott's membership immediately following an emergency board meeting. They have also requested his removal from the World Snooker Tour (WST) Hall of Fame. Dott was suspended on 9 April 2025 and relegated from the professional ranking list.
