Tyson Fury has confirmed his next fight will take place on August 1 in Dublin, serving as a warm-up before his highly anticipated heavyweight clash with Anthony Joshua in November. The British champion posted an Instagram video showing him back in training in Thailand, captioned simply "let's go August 1, Dublin, Ireland." Fury's opponent remains undisclosed, though promoter Frank Warren indicated the announcement would come this week.

Warren emphasized the importance of this upcoming bout, stating that Fury "has to come through his" fight before the November showdown. The Irish card already features an IBO super-lightweight bout between Pierce O'Leary and Mark Chamberlain, suggesting Fury will join the event. Fury's last performance was a comprehensive points victory over Russia's Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11.

Meanwhile, Joshua prepares for his own warm-up fight against Albanian Kristian Prenga in Riyadh on July 25. Warren made clear that both champions need to navigate their respective bouts before the massive collision course between the British heavyweights. The November showdown promises to be one of the year's most significant boxing events.
