Fury Says Joshua Fight Unlikely Amid Venue Dispute

Tyson Fury declared his fight with Anthony Joshua "doesn't look like it's going to happen" in a series of Instagram posts attacking his rival and promoter Eddie Hearn. The bout, expected for November, is stalled over venue: Joshua and Hearn signed for a UK fight, but Saudi-owned Sela prefers Madison Square Garden in New York for a Netflix broadcast.

Hearn sent Sela an addendum requesting increased compensation for Joshua due to US tax implications, plus travel and media arrangements. He insists the fight belongs in Britain for its boxing heritage and Joshua's Olympic legacy. Sela has not responded in days.

Fury branded Joshua and Hearn "disgusting," "money-thirsty," and "cowards," vowing to fight elsewhere. Complicating matters, Dana White's Zuffa Boxing—jointly owned by Sela and TKO Group Holdings—is pushing for the US venue. Hearn claims Zuffa convinced Saudi adviser Turki Alalshikh the fight is bigger in America.

Hearn also noted separate financial disputes with Sela over darts, snooker, and previous boxing events, while declining to address reports Joshua is owed money from his last fight.
