Elfyn Evans extended his lead in the World Rally Championship title race despite finishing sixth at Rally Estonia. The Welsh driver and co-driver Scott Martin completed the 18 stages over two minutes behind winner Sami Pajari, who claimed his maiden WRC victory alongside Finnish compatriot Marko Salminen.

Evans gained eight points to establish a 15-point advantage over nearest rival Takamoto Katsuta, who finished 21st in Estonia but holds second in the standings. Pajari's breakthrough win elevated him to third in the championship. Oliver Sojberg and British co-driver Elliott Edmondson took second place, with Adrien Fourmaux third, Thierry Neuville fourth, and Sébastien Ogier fifth.

Ireland's Jon Armstrong finished ninth, while Josh Mc Erlean ended 43rd after a career-best fourth in Greece. The championship now moves to Finland for the next round from 30 July-2 August, with five rallies remaining to decide the 2026 title winner.
