Belfast's Caoimhin Agyarko will challenge IBF light-middleweight champion Josh Kelly on Saturday, 25 July in Saudi Arabia. The bout features on the undercard of Anthony Joshua's return against Kristian Prenga at the Jeddah Superdome.

Kelly makes his first defence after winning the belt in January against Bakhram Murtazaliev. Agyarko was originally scheduled to face Brandon Adams in a final eliminator in April, but the American collapsed before the weigh-in. The IBF then ordered another eliminator against Murtazaliev, but a deal was struck for a voluntary defence against Agyarko.

"I was heartbroken... thankfully there's been a silver lining and my manager [Paul Ready] worked out a deal," Agyarko told BBC Sport NI. His last fight was a split-decision win over Ishmael Davis at Windsor Park in December, while Kelly has strung eight victories since his sole loss to David Avanesyan in 2021.

Also confirmed is Hamzah Sheeraz's first WBO super-middleweight title defence against Germany's Simon Zachenhuber.
