Dana White has reaffirmed his involvement in staging the Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua mega-fight, scheduled for December 11 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. Speaking to Sky Sports News, White said, "I think it's a fight that people have been waiting for, for over 10 years. So to finally have it done, I'm sure boxing fans are excited."

The announcement stated that Saudi financier Turki Alalshikh's The Ring and White are promoting the bout, despite claims from Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn that White cannot be involved. White responded, "Well, I think that the press release speaks for itself. I've been saying since the beginning... that I was going to be involved in the promotion of it." He added, "Who's going to stop me?"

White dismissed Hearn's suggestion that holding the fight in the UK benefits Joshua. "What did I lose? I promise you I've lost nothing," White said. The main event is expected in the early hours of December 12, catering to a global audience. White noted that the stadium's roof was a key factor: "You can close the roof and the fight with two British heavyweight champions stays in the UK."
