Liverpool have opened talks with RB Leipzig about signing 19‑year‑old Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomande. Leipzig remain firm on keeping the prospect, while Paris Saint‑Germain also table a bid and Diomande has indicated a preference for a move to France. Liverpool hope to outbid rivals and secure the talent before the January deadline.

Arsenal now face Paris Saint‑Germain for Bournemouth’s 19‑year‑old forward Eli Junior Kroupi and Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez. Brentford have lodged a 50m euros (£43m) offer for Cologne winger Said El Mala, who has turned it down, preferring to stay in Germany. Meanwhile Chelsea’s Marc Cucurella is weighing an Atletico Madrid approach, and Juventus are demanding at least 30 million euros for full‑back Andrea Cambiaso. Both clubs see them as vital.

Juventus confirmed that 26‑year‑old striker Dusan Vlahovic will leave on a free transfer when his contract expires in June, after rejecting a new deal. The club have revived interest in Crystal Palace’s Jean‑Philippe Mateta and Norway forward Alexander Sorloth. In Sweden, AIK Stockholm are negotiating the sale of 18‑year‑old Zadok Yohanna, linked with Brighton, Chelsea and Newcastle. Their exits may force Juventus to rethink summer plans.
