The transfer window has closed, and now new arrivals must prove their worth on the pitch. Throughout the Premier League era, many signings have been game-changing, and I've ranked the top 10 below. You can have your say in the comments.

Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Wayne Rooney were left off the list. Henry took until his third season to win the title, while Ronaldo and Rooney needed time to bed in. Manchester City's Erling Haaland scored 36 goals but arrived during a title-winning streak.

At number 10, Petr Cech joined Chelsea for £7m in 2004. He conceded only 15 goals in his debut season, kept 24 clean sheets, and won four Premier League titles over 11 seasons. At number 9, Alan Shearer moved to Blackburn for a British record £3.6m in 1992, scoring 34 goals in 1994-95 as Rovers won the title.

Number 8 is Carlos Tevez, who joined West Ham in 2006. With the Hammers bottom with 11 games left, Tevez's impact was huge, helping them survive. These signings truly moved the needle for their clubs.
