Ross Stewart has earned a Scotland recall for the World Cup after a remarkable turnaround in his career. The Southampton striker, who hadn't been in a squad since 2022, has scored 11 goals this season including a crucial strike in the Championship play-off semi-final against Middlesbrough. "He's shown he can score big goals in big games," said head coach Steve Clarke.

Teenage winger Findlay Curtis also makes the squad after an impressive loan spell at Kilmarnock where he scored five goals for a club fighting relegation. However, there's no place for Lennon Miller despite his 25 appearances for Udinese this season. Clarke explained he opted for another forward rather than an extra midfielder. The squad will face Haiti, Morocco and Brazil in Group C, with games in Massachusetts and Miami.

Veteran goalkeeper Craig Gordon, 43, is included despite limited game time - the three keepers have just 15 appearances between them this season. Clarke has named 11 players from his Euro 2020 and Euro 2024 squads, with Andy Robertson continuing as captain. The squad faces Curacao in a Hampden friendly on 30 May before their final warm-up against Bolivia in New Jersey.
