The SPFL has opened disciplinary investigations into four matches, including Motherwell v Celtic and Celtic v Hearts in the Scottish Premiership, plus two lower league play-off fixtures. The probes fall under SPFL Rules H36 and H37, which target pitch encroachment and pyrotechnic use.

In the 2025-26 season, the SPFL concluded 11 disciplinary processes against eight clubs. These figures exclude final matchdays. The governing body is also engaged with the Scottish government on football banning orders and broader conduct challenges at matches.

Celtic manager Martin O'Neill says assault allegations from Hearts shareholder Tony Bloom, following Saturday's pitch invasion, have not been proved. Police Scotland are investigating potential criminality. O'Neill stated that if proof emerges, apologies are due.
