He suggested waiting until next week for a potentially different picture. Slot also noted the lack of a winter break for English clubs, though he stopped short of blaming it for the losses, pointing instead to the quality of opposition and the disadvantage of playing away from home in four of the five other ties. 'To jump to conclusions - [whether it is] missing a winter break, [or that] the level of the Premier League is not as high as we expected it to be - that would be, for me at this moment of time, not the right conclusion to make.'.
