Scotland have chosen Charlotte FC's state-of-the-art training facility as their World Cup base, the Scottish FA announced. National team head coach Steve Clarke selected the Atrium Health Performance Park in East Charlotte after visiting several FIFA-nominated options. The 52,000-square-foot complex, opened in 2023, features eight pitches and will house the squad during the tournament.

Clarke emphasized the facility meets all preparation requirements, with convenient access to airports for flights to Boston and Miami. Scotland faces Haiti, Morocco, and five-time champions Brazil in Group A, with matches spread across different host cities. The team's decision prioritizes minimizing travel fatigue while maintaining optimal training conditions.

This marks Scotland's first World Cup appearance since 1998, adding significance to their preparations. The squad will play four friendlies before departing for North Carolina, including matches against Japan, Ivory Coast, and Caribbean side Curacao. A final warm-up against Peru in New Jersey will complete their pre-tournament schedule before opening against Haiti in Boston on June 14.
