The Premier League fixtures for the 2026-27 season will be released on Friday, 19 June at 10:00 BST – an hour later than the traditional 09:00 announcement slot used in previous years. The delayed release reflects significant changes to the calendar caused by the 2026 World Cup being held in the United States.

Next season will kick off on Saturday, 22 August 2026 – precisely 34 days after the World Cup final. The campaign will conclude on Sunday, 30 May 2027, with the Champions League final scheduled just six days later. The Premier League will play 33 rounds of weekend fixtures with the remaining five taking place midweek.

The league has confirmed the schedule will avoid domestic competition clashes with Uefa competition dates wherever possible. During the Christmas and New Year period, no two rounds will be scheduled within 60 hours of each other, honoring commitments made to clubs regarding the congested festive fixture pile-up.
