Palmer: Chelsea No Plans to Leave After Denying United Move

Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer has firmly denied reports linking him to Manchester United, insisting he has "no plans" to leave Stamford Bridge. The 23-year-old England international, who joined the Blues from Manchester City in a £42.5m deal in 2023, laughed at suggestions he could return to his boyhood club despite a dip in form this season.

Palmer scored 43 goals in 97 appearances for Chelsea over his first two seasons but has managed just 10 this campaign, leading to speculation that homesickness might be affecting his performance. Despite being born in Manchester with all his family there, Palmer dismissed the claims, stating "when I see it I just laugh" and denying he misses his hometown.

The playmaker acknowledged Manchester as his home but maintained there's "nothing there for me anyway" after returning from visits. Palmer's statement effectively ends speculation about a potential move to Old Trafford, confirming his commitment to Chelsea despite his United fandom and recent goal drought.
