West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo has banned winger Adama Traore from lifting weights at the training ground, citing the player's naturally muscular physique. The 30-year-old Spaniard's frame has been described as 'incredible' by Nuno, who believes Traore already carries sufficient muscle mass.

Traore previously claimed he didn't lift weights, but teammate Crysencio Summerville posted a video showing the winger bench-pressing 145kg at West Ham's Rush Green facility. Nuno dismissed the footage, stating that Traore's genetics account for his physique and that additional weight training could be counterproductive.

The manager emphasized that Traore will focus on injury prevention work in the gym rather than strength training. Nuno contrasted this approach with young defender Airidas Golambeckis, who needs to build muscle through extensive gym work. This personalized training strategy highlights Nuno's attention to individual player needs as West Ham prepares for their Premier League match against Fulham.
