Germany international Nicole Anyomi has signed a four-year deal with London City Lionesses after leaving Eintracht Frankfurt. The 26-year-old scored 60 goals in 130 appearances across five seasons in Germany before making the switch to England.

Anyomi brings significant international experience to the Women's Super League side, earning 34 Germany caps and featuring in the Euro 2022 final squad. She also helped Germany secure bronze at the 2024 Olympics, adding pedigree to a Lionesses attack that needed strengthening.

The striker expressed excitement about testing herself in what she describes as a more physical and direct league compared to Germany. Her friend Shekiera Martinez, now at Tottenham, provided insight into English football and life in London before the move.

This signing follows London City's recent retention of defender Poppy Pattinson, showing the club's intent to build a competitive squad. Anyomi's arrival gives the Lionesses a proven goalscorer as they aim to establish themselves in the Super League.
